Student Spotlight

I am currently enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Salve Regina University. Since graduating from the UMass Amherst nursing program, I have gained experience in medical-surgical, allergy and immunology, and clinical research nursing. My hope is to become a primary care provider upon graduating and serve my community by helping to ease the primary care shortage that affects many Americans. I hope to specialize in addiction recovery and weight-neutral approaches to nutrition and health promotion.

My name is Antonette. I graduated from Elms College in 2016 and have been working as a Hematology/Oncology Nurse since starting my career. I am currently enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program at American International College. My goal is to become a Primary Care Provider and hold clinics within the community to provide preventative care and health literacy.
