ECSWT is a type of regenerative therapy where shockwaves are delivered to the targeted areas to promote the natural healing process of the muscles and tissues. This treatment is performed in-office by Dr.Jordan, who will administer the shockwaves through an ECSWT machine.

What can I expect during an ECSWT treatment?

ECSWT is a noninvasive treatment, that is performed in the office by Dr. Jordan. This treatment will require multiple sessions, depending on the injury and how the tissue is responding. Typically, patients are treated weekly for 3 to 6 weeks. The duration of each session is typically 30 minutes or less, but this can vary depending on the location of the injury that is being treated. 

This is a noninvasive treatment with no adverse effects so the reported levels of discomfort by patients are minimal, but this can vary depending on the patient and the injury. Most patients return to normal activity within 24 hours after completing the treatment.

What is the cost of ECSWT?

ECSWT is $499 per session. ECSWT can be combined with PRP to allow for additional tissue growth and repair for $599 per session. 

While ECSWT is FDA approved, it is not covered by insurance.
