Janet Helliwell, RN, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Jordan Healthcare. She received her graduate degree in 2009 from Graceland University in Missouri, her undergraduate degree in nursing from Elms College in Chicopee in 1994, and her associate degree in respiratory care from STCC in 1990. Bringing over 30 years of healthcare experience in acute hospital and home-based organizations, geriatric medicine, addiction medicine, and clinical drug research, she is enthusiastically looking forward to practicing primary care at Jordan Healthcare.
Janet’s true passion is partnering with her patients, motivating them to be the best they can be based on the holistic model of nursing. Education and empowering patients are key components in not only preventing illness in health promotion but also treating chronic illnesses to ensure optimal wellness, collaborating and engaging with patients, families, and other health professionals to best meet the individual needs of the patient.
